With roots going back over 130 years, George A. Wright & Son brings together industrial contracting and material handling under one roof. The industrial contracting side manages plant decommissioning and relocation, and the installation and integration of process and packaging machinery — everything from bakery equipment, mixers, and ovens to VFFS systems, overwrap machines, metal detectors, cartoners, checkweighers, and conveyor systems. On the material handling side, the team designs, manufactures, and integrates custom stainless steel conveyors for direct food contact, general product handling conveyors, 24V DC roller conveyor systems, and modular CDLR palletizing conveyors. It’s a rare combination of precision fabrication and full-scale industrial project execution.

MD Packaging is one of Canada’s foremost distributors of product inspection and packaging automation, representing leading North American and European OEMs across the full production line. The team delivers product inspection and safety equipment (metal detectors, X-ray detectors, checkweighers), primary automation (baggers, cappers, induction sealers), secondary automation (tray formers, case packers, labelers), and end-of-line automation (palletizers, depalletizers, stretch wrappers) — backed by an in-house parts and service department and factory-trained technicians who support customers long after installation. MD Packaging works closely with manufacturers in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and industrial products to reduce risk and improve predictability on the line.

Penmar Automation is an electrical automation and controls contractor best known for its Command Stamp press control systems, which bring mechanical stamping presses into compliance with current safety standards. Beyond press safety, the team designs, builds, installs, and commissions control panels to CSA and UL standards, engineers system controls for automated electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and provides skilled contracting labor for short- and long-term client needs — from press control retrofits for major automotive manufacturers to conveyor line controls for the bottling industry.
